The Impact of Modern Communication Methods on The Formation of Social Relations for University Youth - A Field Study for The Period 1/5/2024 to 1/6/2024

The world has recently witnessed a huge boom in progress in information and communication technology, which has brought about a radical change in all fields. Therefore, the research aimed to shed light on the impact of modern means of communication in shaping the social thought of university youth in Iraq. In order to achieve this goal, the research relied on the descriptive analytical approach that is based on analyzing the research phenomenon and identifying the impact of modern means of communication on shaping the social relations of university youth. Then, the Statistical Package for Statistics (SPSS) program was relied upon to prove or reject the hypotheses related to the research. The study reached many results, including the existence of a high level of reliance by university youth in Iraq on modern means of communication from the point of view of the study sample members, as the arithmetic mean value reached 4.073 with a standard deviation of 0.785, which answers the first question of the study. Then, the applied study reached a high level of social thought among university youth in Iraq from the point of view of the study sample members, as the arithmetic mean value reached 4.076 with a standard deviation of 0.721, which answers the second question of the study. Therefore, the study recommends the necessity of working to increase the level of awareness of youth to achieve benefit from modern means of communication.
