The Role of Television Programs in Analyzing Issues of Social Dissolution and Combating Crime - A Field Study

Abstract

The research revolves around identifying the role of television programs in analyzing issues of social dissolution and combating crime. Through an applied study, the study tool was a questionnaire distributed to a random sample of 485 Iraqi citizens. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant correlation between television programs and combating crime. The study recommended paying attention to increasing the quantity and quality of television programs that address societal issues, while working to raise the level of citizens’ awareness to confront issues that may affect society, while working to activate laws that enable combating crime and eliminating everything related to social dissolution.
