About the Journal
Journal of Al-Farahidi's Arts (JAA): is an Iraqi international, double-blind peer-reviewed and open access journal providing a unique forum for researchers, scholars and practitioners to concern dynamic and rapid evolution of knowledge in the Arts, social sciences.
JAA is a quarterly journal aimed to involve researchers from international institutions to share their most valuable scientific results. The main scope of the journal is to publish high-quality original research, reviews and case reports in the areas of Arts and social sciences. The journal welcomes contributions from all who wish to report on new developments and the latest findings in all fields of Arts.
JAA is not limited to a specific aspect of science and ِArts but is instead devoted to a wide range of subfields in the Arts and social sciences. While it encourages a broad spectrum of contribution in the Arts and social sciences, its core interest lies in issues concerning material modeling and response. Articles of interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome.
The primary goal of the new editors is to maintain a high quality of publications. There will be a commitment to expediting the time taken for the publication of the papers. The articles that are sent for review will have the names of the authors deleted with a view towards enhancing the objectivity and fairness of the review process.
The journal accepts research articles, review articles, case reports and selected conference articles. Submissions are accepted in both Arabic and English since 2009. The Editors reserve the right to reject papers without sending them out for review. The JAA is committed to upholding Publication Ethics (COPE) and obligates the authors to avoid any plagiarism and illegal citation.
JAA publishes original research papers, review papers and case reports. The journal is dedicated to bringing together intellectual and professional scholars, as well as the public sector, engaged in efforts to understand the fields of social sciences in:

- Media and Communication.
- Archaeology and Civilizational Studies.
- Sociology and Anthropology.
- Philosophy.
- Library and Information Science and Knowledge Technologies.
