يدور البحث حول التعرف إلى دور البرامج التلفزيونية في تحليل قضايا الانحلال الاجتماعي ومكافحة الجريمة ومن خلال الدراسة التطبيقية حيث كانت أداة الدراسة هي الاستبانة التي وزعت على عينة عشوائية من 485 من المواطنين العراقيين وقد توصلت الدراسة لوجود علاقة ارتباط ذات دلالة إحصائية بين البرامج التلفزيونية ومكافحة الجريمة وأوصت الدراسة بالاهتمام بزيادة البرامج التلفزيونية كماً وكيفاً التي تتناول القضايا المجتمعية، مع العمل على رفع مستوى وعي المواطنين لمواجهة القضايا التي يمكن أن تمس المجتمع، مع العمل على تفعيل القوانين التي تمكن من مكافحة الجريمة والقضاء على كل ما يتعلق بالانحلال الاجتماعي.
