الملخص
هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على المعالجة الصحفية لأزمة شحة المياه في الصحف اليومية العراقية، ذلك من أجل اعطاء صورة واضحة عن طبيعة واسلوب تلك المعالجة التي تناولت بها صحف الدراسة أزمة شحة المياه، وما آلت إليه هذه الأزمة من تطورات ومنعطفات وتأثيرات ذات صلة في العديد من المجالات سواء السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية وغيرها.
وتناولت الدراسة طبيعة المعالجة الصحفية التي قامت بها الصحف العراقية في تغطيتها للأزمة المائية، حيث عمد الباحثان الى اختيار جريدتين يوميتين متنوعة الاتجاه وكانت متمثلة بجرائد (الصباح، الزمان)، وإخضاعها للبحث اعتمادا على البحوث الوصفية للخروج منها بنتائج علمية وعملية واستخدام المنهج المسحي كونه المنهج الانسب للوصول الى نتائج علمية وعملية تُلبي متطلبات واهداف البحث، وكذلك يتيح الحصول على البيانات والمعلومات اللازمة في إطار البحث، واتخذ الباحثان أداة تحليل المضمون التي تم عن طريقها دراسة وتحليل المضمون للمادة الصحفية لصحف محل الدراسة للتعرف عن الكيفية التي تمت بها المعالجة الصحفية لأزمة شحة المياه في العراق، ومعرفة الشكل العام الذي قُدمت بها المادة الاعلامية للتصدي لمثل هكذا أزمات.
