تتناول البحث الإعلانات في مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي (موقع فيسبوك) إذ أصبحت تمثل رافداً مهماً في نقل الإعلان التجاري نتيجة عوامل عدة أبرزها سرعة وصوله إلى الجمهور وتكلفته المعقولة واتساع جمهور المتابعين للفيسبوك فضلاً عن فاعليته من حيث مراقبة وقياس نتائج الحملات التسويقية.
تطرق البحث إلى مفهوم الإعلان الممول ومعايير التصميم الإعلاني الفعال ورصد اشكال ومميزات الإعلانات الممولة في موقع فيسبوك ومعرفة اشكال ومضامين هذا النوع من الاعلان.
يعد البحث من البحوث الوصفية التحليلية حيث اعتمد على منهج المسح بالعينة الالكترونية، اما من حيث الشكل فهو ينتمي إلى الدراسات الوصفية التي تصف العناصر التيبوغرافية للإعلان.
تمخض البحث عن جملة نتائج اهمها: هناك نوعان من الإعلانات على موقع فيسبوك الاول إعلان مجاني والثاني إعلان ممول. وتختلف تكلفة الإعلان الممول على فيسبوك على وفق جودة الإعلان ومدى قدرته على الوصول الى الشريحة المستهدفة.
