التنمية الزراعية في منطقة مشروع ري الجزيرة الشمالي - دراسة تطبيقية في المقومات والمعوقات

يعد مشروع ري الجزيرة الشمالي من المشاريع الاروائية الإستراتيجية والاقتصادية المهمة التي يعول عليها كثيرا في تحقيق تنمية زراعية مستدامة في منطقة غرب دجلة كونه يمتد على مساحات زراعية واسعة تقدر بحوالي (280.000) دونما في بيئات شبة جافة على أراضي منبسطة وذات خصوبة عالية وموقعه جغرافي متميز، ان الهدف الرئيسي من المشروع هو استصلاح الأراضي وزيادة المساحات الخضراء وزيادة كمية الانتاج وتنويعها من خلال التوسع الرأسي والافقي وذلك بتوفير المياه العذبة من بحيره سد الموصل وإنشاء القنوات الاروائية وشق المبازل لزيادة كفاءة الإرواء ومن ثم رفع غلة الدونمية للمحاصيل الزراعية المختلفة.
